Our sailing options
Flyaway is class 4C registered with AMSA and has all licences and safety equipment necessary to go anywhere along the Australian coastline out to 35nm from the mainland. This offers opportunities to sail to some of our most amazing destinations like Rottnest Island, the Abrolhos Islands and even the Ningaloo and Kimberley regions. The boats home port is Geograph Marina, so any charters up north will usually be done in the winter months and are subject to seasonal demand so feel free to put forward an expression of interest if you have a destination in mind and we can keep you updated if and when the boat is close by and available. Social media is also a good way to get updates.

Here, you can explore the crystal-clear waters that teem with dolphins, turtles, and over 500 species of fish, making it a perfect spot for snorkelling and scuba diving.
Just a short journey from Shark Bay lies the famous Ningaloo Reef, home to the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, which migrates through these waters annually. This incredible reef is easily accessible from the shore, allowing visitors to enjoy spectacular coral formations and vibrant marine environments without the need for large boats. Popular activities in the Ningaloo area include guided tours for swimming with whale sharks, diving amidst colourful reefs, and even catch-and-release fishing if you're after a bit of a thrill.

Both Shark Bay and Ningaloo are rich in biodiversity. At Shark Bay, you can visit the enchanting Monkey Mia to see the famous dolphins that come right to shore, providing visitors with the opportunity for a close encounter. The area is also home to playful sea lions, dugongs, and even the rare Shark Bay ram's horn shell, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.
Ningaloo Reef isn't just about the underwater wonders; it’s also surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The rugged coastline and breathtaking views from the cliffs offer a perfect backdrop for hiking and exploring, with many trails leading you through stunning scenery and opportunities to spot kangaroos, emus, and various bird species.
